We decided to use AGlaze on all our aircraft. We have been delighted with the results so far. This product is very easy to use and very little is needed, therefore it is very cost effective. We have also found that aircraft which have been AGlazed have been easier to wash. We believe AGlaze does protect the aircraft paint, giving the paint a longer life span and clean aircraft with AGlazed surfaces we believe use less fuel. We are delighted with AGlaze; the added benefits are a superb looking aircraft. You can notice the difference.

We operate our aircraft in a relatively harsh environment which required us to generally repaint our aircraft every four years. Where we have annually applied Aviation AGlaze Surface Sealant to some of our aircraft within our fleet we have noticed we have been able to extend the paint interval to six years due to the protective qualities of the AGlaze coating. I can add that, in addition to the paint life extension, the aircraft remained cleaner for longer allowing us to extend the cleaning intervals.

Flight test evaluation of one of our aircraft protected with AGlaze sealant shows no decrease in paint gloss from levels measured at the time the aircraft was painted. The evaluation was conducted over a period of 8 months. An unprotected aircraft painted 18 days earlier that the test airplane was found to have a 14% decrease in gloss. These findings are significant in terms of preventing irreversible paint oxidation and providing longer paint life.

The aircraft retains its shininess and gloss, it is easier to clean and cleaning events are less frequent. Of particular significance is that, in our harsh desert climate, we expect to repaint every four years. The annual application of AGlaze allowed us to extend the repaint by several years.

AGlaze creates an extra protective layer to the aircraft paint, improving the colours and gloss and eliminates the need for polishing, keeping the paint shiny for longer periods. It is environmentally friendly and is easy and quick to apply.

First of all, after an application of AGlaze our aircraft is much easier to clean and saves us a lot of labour costs. Secondly, and even more significant, we are using less fuel than in the past for the same flights and we notice during low level navigation flights a much higher IAS with the same power setting.

Due to our operations in a rather salty and sandy environment we protect our helicopters with AGlaze. Washing of the helicopters is far easier to perform compared to the period in which our helicopters were not glazed. And the yellow lacquer remains in good condition.
